Congratulations to Joan Stelmack on receiving the Dr. Jerry P. Davidoff Vision Care Award. Dr. Stelmack is Director of Low Vision Service at the University of Illinois Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science. She specializes in low vision rehabilitation and contributes to ophthalmology resident education and research.

Photographer and ICO Emeritus Professor, Dominick Maino, is exhibiting beautiful and haunting images that transport the viewer into a world of timeless elegance and mystery at the Fat Cat Gallery in Oak Park, IL. His mastery of composition, light, and shadow, captures the essence of the natural world in exquisite color and black-and-white images. Congrats, Dr. Maino.

In January, Michael Rayher and John Maciejewski participated in the 20th anniversary CT-Vosh mission trip to San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. Their group examined and treated over 3700 patients in four days and provided free glasses, sunglasses, and medication.
