If you were to draw a Venn diagram of the recent alums featured in this article, you would see that while their paths may have significantly overlapped at ICO, since graduating their paths have diverged.

Time and again, Casey Hogan, OD ’97 has proven herself to be one of ICO’s most committed allies. A Diplomate of the American Academy of Optometry, one of the profession’s highest distinctions, she’s a regular presence at student events and national conferences. 

ICO is developing a new degree option for students enrolled in the College’s Doctor of Optometry program. This degree option will be a thesis-based, joint degree Master of Science in Clinical Vision Research (OD/MS) with the opportunity to graduate with both degrees on schedule with the pre-established OD graduation date. 

There is no doubt that commencement is one of ICO's most impactful events, and this year’s 182nd ceremony, held at the Chicago Symphony Center on May 17th, was no exception.
