On May 15, 2025, our newly renovated gym was transformed into a place of celebration. Round tables draped in white linen, set with china, glassware, and fresh flowers welcomed the Class of 2025 back to ICO. Students celebrated over a warm brunch as they reflected on their time together and their last year apart. There was a lot to celebrate. 36 students graduated with Latin honors, and 26 graduates matched to pursue postdoctoral residency.

At the Capstone ceremony, we recognized over $1.4 million in merit-based scholarships distributed throughout enrollment to members of the graduating class, as well as announced recipients of over $70,000 in new awards over 39 scholarships. There were many other highlights, Ria Patel, OD ’25, graduated with research honors, and Bayan Allaz, OD ’25, received the inaugural Rick Bay Foundation's Student Innovator Award. We'd also like to extend our congratulations to Elizabeth Wyles, OD, who received this year’s Golden Apple Award. It takes a lot of work and effort to pull an event like this together, and everything went very smoothly. Thank you to all who were involved, and congratulations again to the graduates!
