While in Portland for the latest ASCO meeting, President Mark Colip, OD ’92 and Vice President and Dean for Academic Affairs Stephanie Messner, OD made a quick trip up to Vancouver to reconnect with our wonderful alumni. It was a small group, but as Dr. Colip put it, “It was the perfect size to allow for meaningful conversations and time to catch up with each alum.” 

The gathering brought together not only ICO graduates, but also a student on their externship rotation and an incoming student, making it a true snapshot of our extended ICO family. Many of the faces were familiar both from former homecomings and their involvement in the alumni council. 

We hope to continue building these connections and thank everyone who came out that night. It was wonderful to see you all, and we can’t wait to invite you back home to ICO soon.
