Two students have been selected for this year’s Summer Research Program. Angela Jiang ’29 will investigate the effect of screen width on reading rate in patients with complete homonymous hemianopia, mentored by Tracy Matchinski, OD ’95, and Janis E. Winters, OD ’91. Marion Lazaj ’29 will explore improved screening methods for pediatric dry eye disease, mentored by Yi Pang, OD, PhD. 

Both will participate in a full didactic program alongside their data collection, with the goal of presenting and publishing their findings. Congratulations to both and thank you to their mentors and the Student Research and Graduate Program Committee.
