ICO held its annual Capstone Ceremony on May 14, recognizing the accomplishments of the Class of 2026 two days before commencement on May 16. Roughly 40% of the graduating class received an award or recognition of some kind. 

In addition to acknowledging the many students who matriculated to ICO with merit-based entering scholarships, 41 new scholarships were awarded that recognized members of the graduating class who excelled in academics, service, and leadership. The ceremony also recognized 12 AAO Student Fellows, 29 Residency Candidates, approximately 20 Clinical Honors recipients across all four quarters of fourth-year, and 9 Accelerated Clinic Program students.
