ICO’s contact lens faculty and residents made a strong showing at the 2026 Global Specialty Lens Symposium, held Jan. 7–10, contributing 11 poster presentations and three featured presenters. Highlights included presentations from ICO faculty, including Jennifer S. Harthan’s, OD ’06, delivering a rapid-fire presentation on patient-reported visual fogging in scleral lens wear, a CE lecture on irregular cornea co-presented by Drs. DeNaeyer, Louie, Harthan and Lasby, and Dr. Naqvi’s presentation on a contact lens approach to driving clearance in a teen with congenital nystagmus. 

GSLS is one of the premier specialty contact lens conferences in the world, and ICO’s showing this year was among our strongest yet.
