At the recent Academy meeting, ICO had a total of 39 posters (nine of which were student presentations), seven continuing education lectures, and three paper presentations. A special congratulations to Dr. Michael Chaglasian who received the Distinguished Service Award from the Optometric Glaucoma Society during their 20th annual scientific meeting. 

Several past residents and faculty members also achieved fellowships. Congratulations to Greta Gregg, OD ’19 and Chelsea Bradley, OD for receiving their Academy Fellowship at the meeting. Congratulations also to our residents Pedram Pourhosseini, OD ’20; Negar Sohbati, OD ’20; Alessandra Roa, OD ’20; Steven Huynh, OD; Jessica Jankiewicz, OD; and Megan Byer, OD all of whom achieved fellowship this year.

And of course, congratulations to the ICO student team who won 4th place at the Essilor Academic Challenge.
