Fifty research posters, dozens of student authors and one unforgettable showing. ICO set a new record at the American Academy of Optometry’s 2025 meeting in Boston, where students and faculty shared cutting–edge work across clinical and scientific disciplines. Each presentation reflected the creativity and curiosity that fuel innovation at ICO and shape the future of optometric research.

Joe Tawfic ’26; Meili Burns Van Dyke ’26; and Matt Williams ’26 represented ICO in the EssilorLuxottica Academic Challenge! Though they may not have come out on top, with AZCOPT taking first place, we definitely think their ’The Bear’ themed outfits were best in show.

Congratulations to Alyssa Ang ’27 who received a Beta Sigma Kappa Student Travel Fellowship Grant to help fund her travel to the Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Optometry.
