For over two decades, ICO has worked with the Lions Club International to bring vision care to Special Olympics athletes, this year’s Opening Eyes screening was no exception. From June 20th to 21st, a team of optometrists, students, and volunteers provided vision assessments for roughly 190 athletes in Bloomington–Normal, Illinois, distributing 130 pairs of prescription glasses and helping to ensure a bright future for the community.
