Our annual Homecoming weekend took on a scholarly tone as ICO hosted the Optometric Glaucoma Foundation’s ninth annual Glaucoma Educators Program. The event drew experts from across the globe to discuss the future of glaucoma care.  

The morning sessions explored the use of AI in clinical practice led by Pearse A. Keane, MD, MSc, FRCOphth, Moorfields Eye Hospital, and Jithin Yohannan, MD, MPH, Wilmer Eye Institute. The afternoon session focused on conducting industry research within optometric institutions and included engaging panel discussions led by Michael Chaglasian, OD, FAAO; Murray Fingeret, OD; and colleagues.

The exchange of ideas left participants energized about what’s next for the profession.
