Under the glow of proud smiles and camera flashes, and with their loved ones in attendance, the Class of 2028 donned their white coats for the first time on August 23rd. The White Coat ceremony marks a defining moment for our future optometrists, symbolizing the shift from didactic learning to clinical care and serves as a significant personal milestone of growth on their optometric journey. “I look forward to watching each of you grow as you expand your mind and your proficiency and become expertly trained practitioners” said President Mark K. Colip, OD ’92, before offering a reminder that ICO will be with them every step of the way, “My door is always open”.
