Last night, ICO bid our 2020-2021 residents a bittersweet farewell. These talented doctors came into their own clinically in the midst of the pandemic. Working together, we think they have achieved something very special. Congratulations! We wish you the best of luck @ico_residency!

It's finally here! This week the future class of 2025 arrives on campus and will take the first step of this exciting 4-year journey. The years will fly by, life-long relationships will be made, and lives will be transformed in a very short time.
We've collected a couple words of advice from our staff and faculty that we think you should keep in mind before you start.
ICO, let's welcome the class of 2025!!!

Here at ICO we are always busy!
Just before we welcomed our newest class, held ICO Olympics AND white coat, our cornea department hosted the 2021 GPLI Cornea and Contact Lens Resident Symposium.
We hosted 39 residents and over 20 CLMA Ambassadors. There were so many individuals involved who provided great education and made our guests feel welcomed.
It's been a busy month, but we couldn't let this one go without thanking everyone who participated and thanking our wonderful Cornea and Contact Lens faculty and staff for helping put together this event!

We wanted to take a moment to celebrate our wonderful professors on World Teacher's Day! Be sure to thank one of your mentors and educators today.
ICO faculty, thank you for all that you do.

Tomorrow we're having a very special takeover! With optometry schools around the nation heading to this year's American Academy of Optometry, we wanted to take the opportunity to highlight ICO students at the AAO as well! Alek won a travel grant to attend AAO, and we asked him to show us around. Be sure to check out Alek Karthikeyan, a third year at ICO's, takeover tomorrow. Stay tuned for the Q&A as well!

Coming to you live from ICO, we have another takeover!
Karli Clark is a 1st year from Kentucky who some of you might recognize if you interviewed at ICO this year- she helps out in the admissions office and is a full-time optometry student.
She also has her own Instagram account with tons of great information about what Life at ICO is like. Don't forget to give her a follow after her takeover! @eye_karli_
